Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of Mahendru, who has a Russian mother from India and an Afghan Hindu father. She fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as a Russian mom. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer and snow maiden. After high school, she graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from New York. After school she took acting classes at the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation at The Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as an Russian-speaking mother Olga. The couple divorced at the age of 13 young and relocated from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She appears alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. Television actress who is best known for her portrayal of the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. Her other roles included recurring ones on The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as NBC's The Blacklist.
